Team Costa Rica July 2013

 "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

In 2009, an earthquake rocked Costa Rica and left many families homeless to this day.  For Christmas 2012, the people of RockPointe decided to sacrifice part of our Christmas budgets to give a gift to Christ on His Birthday.  One part of that gift was to take on a project to build a home for Marcos, Maria,  Katherine (17) & Nikole (8)  who have been a part of Shalom Church for more than 8 years. Maria was diagnosed  with  terminal stomach cancer and it is invading her whole system, so the need for safe housing is urgent...

On July 19, 2013 Team Costa Rica will leave for Fraijanes, Costa Rica to help with building a safe home for this family.  We partner with Shalom Christian Community Church to love and serve the people there and this team is one of many that have served there since 2009.

Please keep this team in your prayers for travel mercies, safety, and open hearts and eyes to the needs in front of us.
